Directions to Lake Pleasant
Directions to Vista Point (East Side)
I-17 to Carefree Highway a.k.a I-74.
Head West on Carefree Highway about 8 miles.
Come to 87th Avenue, take right.
Take first left Harbor Boulevard into Marina.
Pay $6 CASH toll (exact change is appreciated).
Go to Stop Sign, take right.
Go to Stop Sign, take left.
About 100 yards after turn, you will come to a fork in the road.
Take dirt road in the middle, up hill.
At top of hill, stay to the left.
Go down small hill, winding around the point (lake on your left).
You are now entering Vista Point. There are two places to dive.
First place is on your right hand side with an old gravel road that goes into the lake.
Second place is a little further down the point, near the picnic table.
Directions to Sunset Point (Beismeyer Point) West Side
From I-17 take Exit No. 223 W / State Route 74 / Carefree Highway West.
Travel on SR 74 for approximately 12 miles to Castle Hot Springs Road.
Turn north (right) onto Castle Hot Springs Road.
Turn east (right) onto the Lake Pleasant Access Road that leads into the Park Entrance.
There will be a $6.00 Lake Entrance Fee per vehicle. Once through the Park Entrance, turn right onto South Park Road.
Take the second left onto Sunset Ridge Road.
Follow Sunset Ridge Road around the horseshoe to the top of the peninsula and down to the water’s edge.
The road will run into the water, your instructor will be setup at the water's edge or along the shoreline.

Directions to Desert Tortoise Road (West Side)
From I-17 take Exit No. 223 W / State Route 74 / Carefree Highway West.
Travel on SR 74 for approximately 12 miles to Castle Hot Springs Road.
Turn north (right) onto Castle Hot Springs Road.
Turn east (right) onto the Lake Pleasant Access Road that leads into the Park Entrance.
There will be a $6.00 Lake Entrance Fee per vehicle. Once through the Park Entrance, turn right onto South Park Road.
Dump station will be on your left side. Take immediate left, after dump station.
This is Desert Tortoise Road.
Follow main road until it runs into the lake.
Typically, we dive where the road runs into the lake.
As the lake goes down, we may also dive off one of the peninsulas or all the way out on the far island.
