Safety: The Academy of Scuba's Highest Priority

It's All About Safety!

Safety is no accident! The great news is Scuba diving has a great safety record compared to other adventure sports. With the proper training and following the correct protocols, most divers will enjoy many years of diving without incident. However, it is just that mentality that can build a sense of comfort and apathy. That is why we drill and prepare for accidents on an ongoing basis. We are constantly evaluating and upgrading our accident plans and protocols to ensure the most rapid response. At the top of our list is putting procedures in place to prevent accidents and emergencies. With this diligent work ethic to prevent accidents and hone our emergency response skills, we believe we have one of the safest programs in the dive industry.

While no safety program can guarantee safety, we want you to feel safe with the ongoing protocols in place at the Academy of Scuba.
